FOR REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONALS · BUYER’S AGENT PATH

A clearer plan for your next buyer consultation.

Turn the buyer’s priorities into a focused search, useful questions and clear next steps. Start with free preparation tools, then choose a paid workbook if you need a fuller client record.

The free demo uses a fictional inherited-home roadmap to demonstrate branding. For a buyer preparation report, choose “Preparing to buy a home” in the full Workspace. No account needed to start.

01 · BEFORE THE SEARCH

Understand the buyer before choosing the tools.

Use this free consultation checklist to record the client’s stated preferences and the questions that need a qualified answer.

  1. Clarify the move and timing. Discuss the reason for moving, next-home needs, lease or sale coordination and who will participate in decisions. Separate a preferred move date from actual contractual deadlines.
  2. Let the buyer set the criteria. Record required property features, flexible preferences, buyer-selected locations and travel needs. Compare verified property information rather than assumptions about who lives in a neighborhood.
  3. Identify purchase-cash questions. Ask which costs and reserves need clarification for the buyer’s intended cash or financed purchase. Direct loan terms, eligibility and documentation questions to the lender; calculator results are not approval.
  4. Explain the working process. Use your brokerage’s approved process for representation, service scope, compensation discussions, agreements and disclosures. These preparation tools do not create representation or replace required forms.
  5. Agree the search and follow-up routine. Confirm how tours will be arranged, which questions to record after each visit, how decisions will be communicated and where confidential documents belong.

02 · DURING THE CONVERSATION

Choose the next question to work through.

Use these free tools separately. Label assumptions and unknowns, and keep identity documents and sensitive financial records in your approved secure process.

What needs attention before the search?

Organize timing, documents and professional questions. A completed checklist is a preparation record, not a lending or purchase-readiness certification.

How should we compare locations?

Let the buyer choose and weight practical priorities. Record information sources and unresolved questions; a score is not a recommendation about a community or its residents.

03 · AFTER THE CONSULTATION OR TOUR

Turn open questions into a follow-up plan.

  1. Separate observations from conclusions. Note what the buyer observed, the source of any property information and which questions need an inspector, lender, attorney or other qualified professional.
  2. Prepare a branded checklist. Back up any existing Workspace project, then choose “Preparing to buy a home.” Review the five buyer-preparation tasks and add your branding and next milestone.
  3. Review and share deliberately. Choose the preparation checklist report, review your entries and use Print / Save PDF. Keep detailed tour and property-comparison notes in your approved records or a suitable workbook.
